Should hear back any day about the job front. Background is complete and turned in. Samara is in pre-k full time and adjusting pretty well. I have a lot of alone time with Parkie. Its funny to see how well they act when they are apart. Parker is growing so fast and is so smart. Samara is learning something new everyday. I have been talking to them alot about going back to work. Still need to figure what we will do with Parker. Mr. G has been crazy with his work and school schedule, he will be walking in May with his Bachelors. Getting ready for the holidays have been fun too. Not too much going on with me, just been baking like crazy, reading and catching up on all my magazines, shopping probably WAY too much, reading Rachel Zoes book and watching silly tv. Wish there was more to gossip about, but nothing too much going on right now. I will leave you with this pic that makes me laugh. Parker looks SOOOOO Startled!

not much about anything

Life has been pretty so so around my house lately. Not too much going on. Samara is doing good in pre-k(pic of 1st day), Parker pleads to go to school daily, I am currently doing the background on the job I want, Yay......., I miss my dear friend dearly who we had a falling out....I have gained so much weight, yet I don't eat that much, hubby is always working, school and sleeping. We soooo need a date night, I am trying to get as many service hours before I start working, Yummmmm, I want some ice cream, I want and need the kids to go to BED!, I need my hair and nails done, and I want to sleep. That sums up whats been going on!

Whats new with me?

Absolutely NADA. I had a great interview with the local police department for a records specialist and I scored pretty high on Thursday. Not a word, so I am assuming I didn't get it. It was a perfect job and Money for me. Oh well, I guess it just wasn't meant to be......wahwahwah......it has been so hot and humid that every piece of hair is just sticking to me. Finally getting new phone...hopefully this week. I found out some other great news, My best Friend LISA is PREGGERS with her first baby. I am soooooooooo excited that you would have thought I was the one pregnant. She has been there for every step of my life for the last 13 years. Heres an old pic. She weighs about 50lbs less courtesy of Weight Watchers. GOOO LISA!

POP GOES THE WEASAL!

ohh my how my day has gone......I don't think I could have had a more depressing day. Had to go do a typing test as part of the requirement for the job opportunities, did so poor! Haven't typed like that in 3 1/2 years......oh my. Came home to a messy home. Thanks nephew joey for REALLY watching the kids. Left the 19 year old nephew at home with a 3 and 4 year old. As I was talking to him, I noticed how the kids drew on his feet with Markers. Yep I said it MARKERS!, he casually stated ohhh it must have been while I FELL ASLEEP. ASLEEP while watching them. Thats it....he's fired! Hubby was in the other room sleeping after a double shift, so he was no good. Kids threw a tatrum, Made them take a nap, which they never do. Samara refused to take a nap. Hubby got up and started working on his project car. (Where you can ALWAYS find him when he is awake) whole other story............ I was making dinner and had about 4 pots going at once, sent the kids to play outside since the hubby was out there. My sister-n-law came in with the kids to let me know that they were out there by THEMSELVES! yep, thats right, Huuby had left without telling me. a 3 and 4 year old playing in the front by themselves. and if that wasn't enough, I took the kids around the corner to the MIL house and when I came back after putting 2 screaming babies to sleep, I went to turn on the TV. All I heard was a Pop followed by a flash. Great, another night ALOne, but this time with no t.v in the familyroom. guess I will just have to get to cleaning. OHHHHHH JOOOOOY!!!!

Daddy and Samara

Well, its crazy, its 5:36am (never ever up this early), just shipped Mr. G and Samara off with the MIL. They are headed to Modesto(ugh I know) his g-ma's for a party. Parker and Mommy are staying home cause my aunt M and Uncle D are coming in from Conn. tonight. I am very exited for this. I haven't seen them in 7, do you hear that, 7 LONG years. The reason I am so excited is that we barely found my uncle 8 years ago. My dad and him wer both given up for adoption and seperated at a young age. I found him 8 years ago and am forever thankful to GOD for giving my father such an amazing gift. I am sure going to miss the hibs and Samara. Saturday my sis in law is taking him to a birfday party and sunday we start 31 birthday festivites with massages with the girls for moi! yay for me!

Recovering From Vacation

I'm here...still recovering from my recent vacation to the beautiful island of Hawaii. This trip so couldn't have been better. Weather was wonderful and no rain. Imagine that! I will post some pics as soon as I learn how. (not that skilled as you can see from previous posts...no pics!) It was me, hubby, kids and 19 yr old nephew. It was so nice that the whole family - 22 of us are looking into going next year! we didn't do much. This was our 3rd time here, second with the kids. We went to the honolulu zoo(great!), the aquiriam, the aloha stadium swapmeet, diamond head (just for some pics) and the rest of the time we just hung out by the beach and pool. We stayed at the ever so great place(the only place that we go) The Hilton Hawaiian Village. Would def recommend to EVERYONE. Beach front, lagoon, 6 pools...yummy....we got upgraded again! yay and best of all, we had the hubby for 14 days. Which we haven't had in about 2 years. Oh how nice it was.

Came back nice and brown and also got an early birfday present.. some new coach sunglasses. My sturdy Versaces had died! :(soooo sad.

WHere Have I been?

Where have I been you ask? I have no idea. My postings have dwindled due to being extremely busy the last few weeks. Mr. G has been working like crazy and is currently taking 5 classes at CSDH. So, I have been picking up all the extra work. He is also in the wedding staring as the best man for his Brothers wedding on Saturday. The kiddies are in it too. So needless to say, I hardly have hair left. Between hair appt, dress fitting etc, we have been away for so long. ALSO, we leave for HAWAII on Monday!!!!!! Monday can't come soon enough. This will tell you how excited I have been. I bought all new clothes, shoes, etc for everyone and have been packed for like two weeks:) I have also decided to take a makeup course as I am debating as to what career path I should take. I LOVE makeup and application, but I also LOVE organinzing and planning parties and weddings....so we'll see. What one should I do??????? If I don't post aagain, I will be in Hawaii for 8 days. ALOHA..........

HELLLLLLLL

It has been hell the last couple of weeks. I can't even explain how fraustrated that I have been. Our hawaii trip was cancelled due to ATA. then the hubs said we just won't go. Then I stopped talking to him cause I was mad, My house was almost broken into while the kids and I were home at night ALONE. The cops came and the helicopter. It was pure madness. Then the next night the MIL car was broken into and the guy was caught, They brought me over to see if I identified him from the previous night....and of course....nothing. The upside is is that I rebooked our vaca for hawaii for a slightly cheaper price! Yay for me!

HAPPY EASTER!

Happy easter everyone! The last week has been very busy! and it;s getting busier by the hour. Going to moms and the IL tomorrow. I have my nieces b-day at chuck e cheese today and the baking.....ohh the baking! So far, I have baked rice krispy bars, dream bars, cookie balls, cake balls, chocolate covered strawberries and today I have to bake a butt load of homemade sugar cookies for my moms basket! The baskets are done. the kids need to dye their eggs, and then after, I need to do the devilled eggs...yummmm. The kids party is finally being planned. I took them for their b-day pics for their invites, we have a party on the 29th and the weekend are full from there on out. I think until we leave for HAwaii and that isn't until May 25th. I am trying to talk Mr. G into going to NY with a bunch of our friends in July. He does have 4 weeks of vaca and tons of sick, so we'll see! keep your fingers crossed! Until next time, HAPPY EASTER!

HAPPY EFFIN ST. PATTYS DAY

happy st. pattys day to all of ya. Today starts a few busy weeks for me. My beloved big sis is coming into town with little M today. She only lives 3 hours away and we hardly see her! She will be here till thursday. We will all be having din din at moms house. MMMMMMMM... corned beef and cabbage,......my fav! We have partys on sat, sun. I have to changed the kids party cause mr. G's schedule is ever so changing.....I can go on and on with that one! Easter...thankfully on sat I did the baskets, gifts for the lil one and already starrted the goody bags for the paaaarty! I have bridal showers to plan etc. I finally found out that my auntie and uncle from back east will be down visiting for 2 weeks. I haven't seen them in 6 years! My dad is adopted and I found my uncle 8 years ago. My dad is going to be 61 years old. Can you believe that they spent all their lives apart? You would never guess it! There are two peas in a pod. Well, i'll be back, the kids are fighting AGAIN!!!!!!

ho hum ho hum...

Can we PLEASE get today over with PLEAAASE! Today by far has been a rough day. The kiddies have just been so unruly and not listening, that it breaks my heart! They WOULD NOT take a nap for anything! I have tried all the super nanny suggestions, along with others and nothing. There was a point that I think all of us were crying. Mr. G works a double and won't be home till tomorrow. UGH!! Even then, he will be sleeping. Still LOOKINg for work. I am totally committed to finding a job by next month. Just need to discuss where the kids are going. Nothing really planned for this weekend, just the marketplace on sunday. Don't forget the time change on Saturday. Have a fun weekend ya'all.

Does anyone have any suggestions for temp agencies and day care in the surrounding area of Whittier? I would love to hear from you.

PARKER IS 3 TODAY!! YIPEEE

My baby boy is 3 today. All last night, I was telling Mr. G how I can not believe that Parker is going to be 3! and today is the day! I have been blessed to stay at home with the kiddies for 3 years already! My baby is 3! can you believe that until April 28th, I have 2 children that are the same age. Isn't that crazy. I laugh at it every year! We aren't doing much today as we have a joint birthday party planned for April 5. Mr. G is off tonight, but still goes to school, so we plan on going to chuck-e-cheese, Have cake and open presents just the 4 of us! After I drop Samara off at school, I have some birthday errands to run and daddy is taking parker to get a haircut. I was brave this time and told Mr. G he can get it cut anyway he wanted as long as it isn't shaved vald or close to it! It is a special day today! Ohhh how I love him to itty bitty pieces!

Should I or Shouldn't I?

Well, its been 3 years since I have been a SAHM! I can't believe how time has flown! Samara will be 4 on April 28th and my lil Parker will be 3 in 7 days. I know, so close in age! I have been debating about whether or not I should go back to work. Mr. G prefers me to stay home, but I don't know. I figured that I will get my resume together and send it out and see what becomes of it. I think I would prefer part time. I did tell the hubs that we will definately be getting a cleaning lasy if I am working again. I have enjoyed staying home and the kids will be in school full time shortly. Tell me what ya think? I would love to hear feedback!

BUSY.......

Sorry for not blogging. I have been extrmely busy lately. Tons of birthdays, plans, planning the kiddies joint birthday party (considering they both like different things). This will be the second and last time I am doing this, since next year Samara will be 5! Gosh how time flies. We have a family wedding coming up(the day before we leave for Hawaii) so things have been FUn but Hectic.

Nothing really exciting this last weekend. I had my sisters 3 kids added to my 2 for 2 days. That wasn't so bad, Took them to the museam and hung out at my moms and that was that. Hopefully there will be more to report later! Sorry so boring today!

It's been a FEW days....

well kiddos, its been a few since my last blog. I thought I would take a minute to blog since it is cold and raining in so cal and my cable isn't working! (thanks Time Warner!) Our anniv. was Sunday. we planned on going to dinner and the movies but to my surprise the MIL decided to celebrate her birfday since they will be out of town next weekend. THANKS! Mr. G is now talking to me. Yup, it was 5 days of passing through with not really a mumble. GET OVER IT! we decided to go to the movies and see Jumper. It was oK not exactly the breakthrough movie of the year or anything. But to my surprise.. the MIL kept the kids all night which meant one very important thing! SLEEP yup, not sex but LONG OVERDUE SLEEP! I slept till 11.

Also went to Nordstroms Rack and I got a cool Betsey Johnson Carry on for my Hawaii trip in May! Yay mee! Love it and plan on filling it to the brim, since Mr. G said we were bring the
kids:( We are staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. We stayed there 2 years ago and we loved it! This time, we are bring my 19year old nephew to help us out, plus the hubs and I can get out without the kiddos!

Happy valentines day to all the little cupids out there. Also for all those single cupids! I remember those days! My day has already started and it seems like I have been up for hours! The kiddos are drinking their milk and having breakfast in front of the TV and loving it! Mr. G still mad about my hair and so far still is not speaking to me, so we'll see later tonight if he is! Lots of baing today and planning on surprising my moms for lunch today. Friday is her last day at her job. They laid her off! Boo hoo.. but at the sametime YYYYYAAAYYY for her. Her bosses were real ASSHOLES! excuse the french! Yay for moms! HAPPY VALENTINES DAY YA'LL!!!!

It's Piss off the Hubs Day! Yay!!!

Ok my peeps, I did it. I chopped off my locks into a chin length bob. I was planning on hiding out at MIL's house until Mr. G was gone, but nope, he thwarted my plan. He SHOWED up to visit us before school. DAMMMMMMMMM is all I can say. He didn't say anything and I was thinking, how can he NOT notice? So I said something and he said " I noticed and I hate it" Nice hubs huh! His mom got mad and said that it looked better this way! I was thinking to myself " geesh I wonder if she hated my hair before? Oh well who cares....... I know I know, I sound like a kid awaiting getting in trouble from her parents. But He really HATES sshort hair. and you know what.....I LOVE IT and plan on keeping this way for a long time! SO THERE!

Another Boring MONDAY....

here it is again.......another monday! I must be in a slump because I thought it was just Friday. Where did the weekend go? Another day of COOKING, CLEANING, LAUNDRY....etc....... I must say that as often as I do these things, you must think I live in a spotless house. It doen't matter how often I am picking up, you couldn't tell. Well Mr. G left for school and won't be home until 10:00pm. Another evening just me and the kids! wow, those are coming way to often! well, I have decided, I am cutting my hair! yep.. again! I'm having a little pissy day today, so hopefully this week will turn out better. I have a lot to do this week! Samara has school on valentines day which means I have to sign all her cards for her ( she's only 3), put her bags together for her classmates,make 25 red velvet cupcakes, about a dozen and 1/2 or so for home and moms house. I want to make choc. covered strawberrys and get the kids gifts together plus our 7yr Anniversary is on Sunday. Wheewww what a week ahead! not to mention the up and coming birthdays... I have 4 next week!

It's really only HAIR!

Ok, peeps, so I have been wanting to cut my hair for a really really long time. My hair is long and getting thin due to all the processing and shiz. I have been wanting a bob forever, and I mean FOREVER. The problem being.......Mr. G HATEs and I mean HATES short hair. the last time I cut it in a bob (2years ago) he literally didn't talk to me for a week. So he knew I had a hair appt. and practically begged me not to cut it short. With V day and our 7 yr anniversary being this next week, I decided against it. So Last Thursday, I went in, decided to be safe and cut it below the shoulders. People....I WANT A BOB! It's only hair right? It grows back. I have never been one to let my hubby tell me what to do, but I did take it in to consideration. I'm going to give my new hair another week, and if I don't like it anymore than I do now....I am getting it cut again. So wish me Luck!

Is it really Saturday Already?

Gosh, the weeks are just flying by. With Mr. G working about 60 hour weeks and going to school full time with 15 units....the days are gone as fast as they are here! The kids and I went to a party today at a pizza joint. It was an actually good day today. I didn't pull any of my hair out! Yay meeee! Then we went shopping with the moms after. Thats always fun! In Feb. we have 5 birthdays to shop for, so almost done! Tomorrow is just a boring day of laundry, cleaning and then going back over to the rents house to loung. Mr. G gets off at 6:00am and will be off until Tuesday, so we try to get out of the house to let him sleep. As if that could happen with the kiddies here!

oops......It's been like FOREVER!

Well, its been for ever since I have posted on this and decided I would try it again! I have been pulling my hair out! (literally)! I am at my wits end with my little ones. I so need to go back to work. Mr. G prefers me to sat at home....but I don't know if I can do it any longer. I think I would be a better mom to just do and get back into the field. Although it has been 3 years!!!!!!
